BHCOE Accreditation® is an earned certification and a distinction among ABA therapy providers that demonstrates an organization’s commitment to quality and continuous improvement in applied behavior analysis. The Value of Accreditation

Family

Data shows that accredited ABA organizations have higher patient and employee satisfaction and lower staff turnover, which translates into higher-quality services.

Patients and caregivers rate their experience higher with accredited organizations. 97% of parents whose children received ABA therapy from a BHCOE accredited organization reported that they felt their child made significant improvements within 6 months of treatment.*

Our clinical staff consists of 3 levels of board-certified clinicians. Your child's team is overseen by a BCBA, and may be assisted by a BCaBA, QASP-S, or an RBT in implementing the program. Learn more about each credential level.

BCBA    The Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) is a graduate-level certification in behavior analysis. Professionals certified at the BCBA level are independent practitioners who provide behavior-analytic services. BCBAs may supervise the work of Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts® (BCaBAs®), Registered Behavior Technicians® (RBTs®), and other professionals who implement behavior-analytic interventions.

BCaBA/QASP-S    The Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® (BCaBA®) is an undergraduate-level certification in behavior analysis. Professionals certified at the BCaBA level provide behavior-analytic services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®). Professionals certified at the BCaBA level may not provide behavior-analytic services without the supervision of a BCBA. BCaBAs may supervise the work of Registered Behavior Technicians® (RBTs®).

Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA), Qualified Autism Service Practitioner-Supervisor (QASP-S) is a mid-level certification that validates a professional's knowledge, skills, and competencies in autism and Applied Behavior Analysis. The mid-level QASP-S provides behavioral health services under the supervision of a QBA or above behavior analyst or a licensed or certified professional within the scope of Applied Behavior Analysis.

RBT         The Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) is a paraprofessional certification in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior-analytic services and practice under the direction and close supervision of an RBT Supervisor and/or an RBT Requirements Coordinator, who is responsible for all work an RBT performs.
