Social Skills Group for Teens 11-14
BOOST brings teens together in small, well-matched groups led by trained facilitators who create a fun, supportive space to practice real-life social skills. Teens build confidence, connect with peers, and learn the tools they need to navigate friendships with success.
Classes meet on Wednesdays, January 21 through February 25, from 5:15–6:30 pm at Refocus Behavior.
How BOOST Works
We begin by getting to know your teen—their strengths, interests, and social goals—to ensure BOOST is the right match for their needs.
Our clinical team adjusts activities, supports, and group dynamics to fit each teen’s unique interests and needs, creating a welcoming and prepared environment.

Each week, teens join their BOOST group for games, guided activities, and real-life social practice. Over time, they build skills, confidence, and friendships that reach beyond the classroom.
Evidence-Based Practices
BOOST uses structured, research-supported methods—including modeling, rehearsal, and positive reinforcement—to help teens build meaningful social skills in a supportive environment.
Weekly Skill Building
Each week includes guided practice on key social skills such as conversation, reading nonverbal cues, showing empathy, problem solving, and building peer relationships. Teens learn through fun activities and real-life interactions.
Participation & Engagement
Small group sizes, interactive lessons, icebreakers, and built-in free time keep teens engaged and motivated. Our structured flow helps students feel comfortable, supported, and ready to participate.

Many teens face unique challenges when building friendships or navigating social situations. The growth teens experience in BOOST helps them build stronger relationships at home, at school, and in their communities.
